ByteBlog exists so real builders can share real experience. That is what readers come for, and it is what Google rewards. These rules protect every writer here.

No AI-written blogsBlogs written by ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Claude or any other AI tool will not be published. Spell-check and grammar fixes are fine. The ideas and the writing must be yours.

No AI rewriting of other people's workUsing AI to rephrase, summarise, remix or "spin" someone else's article is plagiarism, even when the words are different.

No copying from the internetCopying any text from websites, blogs, books or other writers leads to immediate deletion and a strike on your account.

No made-up factsInvented statistics, fake events or stories that did not happen are removed. Share sources for your numbers.

🔍 How every blog is checked

The editor shows you an Originality meter while you write: how much you typed versus pasted (code blocks never count), how long you wrote, AI-style phrases and matches with other ByteBlog blogs. A high score or mostly-pasted text sends the blog to the ByteBlog team for review. The team also reviews a new writer's first blogs, reads reader reports and checks every day's blogs.

⚖️ When a rule is broken

The team can ask you how a blog was written (reply within 72 hours or it is unpublished), unpublish it, edit it, or delete it. Copied blogs are deleted immediately. Strikes add up: at 3 strikes every blog you write waits for review, and repeated abuse removes writing access.

🌟 Trust levels

New: your first blogs are reviewed. Trusted: after approved blogs with no strikes, you publish instantly. Verified: picked by the team; your outbound links count fully for search. Restricted: after 3 strikes, every blog is reviewed.
