A paid, live, mentor-led 4-week Cloud & DevOps internship. Beginner-friendly - no prior DevOps experience, we start from Linux basics and finish by deploying a real application to Azure Kubernetes Service with a full CI/CD pipeline. Weeks 1-3 are live training on Google Meet; Week 4 is a DevOps capstone you build, ship, and present. Build in public every week. Ends with a verifiable certificate and a recruiter-ready portfolio.

What you will learn and build

The full curriculum, module by module, with hands-on project steps along the way.

Week 1 - Linux, Shell, Git and Docker

Get comfortable on the command line and ship your first container. Linux commands, file permissions, users and groups; shell scripting (variables, conditionals, loops, functions); Git and GitHub (clone, commit, branches, pull requests); Docker fundamentals - images, Dockerfile, build and run, push to Docker Hub. Hands-on: containerize a sample app and push the image.

Week 2 - Kubernetes and Monitoring

Run and scale your containers on Kubernetes and see them with monitoring. Kubernetes architecture, pods, deployments, services and kubectl; ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress and the Horizontal Pod Autoscaler; an introduction to monitoring with Azure Monitor and Container Insights. Hands-on: deploy a multi-tier app with ConfigMaps and Secrets and read live cluster metrics.

Week 3 - Azure and CI/CD

Stand up cloud infrastructure on Azure and automate delivery. Azure portal, resource groups, VMs and networking (VNet, subnets, NSG), Load Balancer and Application Gateway; Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Registry (ACR); Azure DevOps repos and YAML pipelines. Hands-on: create an AKS cluster and a pipeline that builds the image, pushes to ACR, and deploys to AKS. (Week 3 uses the student own Azure account - small cloud charges apply; stop or delete resources after each lab.)

Project

Week 4 - DevOps Capstone (ship to AKS with CI/CD)

Prove your skills on one real DevOps project: source in GitHub, Dockerized, deployed to AKS through an Azure CI/CD pipeline, with monitoring (Azure Monitor + Container Insights) and full documentation. Deliver a repo (manifests, pipeline, README, screenshots), a 3-5 minute demo video, and a Demo Day presentation. This is your portfolio piece.
