CareerByteCode GenAI Internship Sep Cohort - 4 weeks

Learners will build a strong foundation in Python programming and understand the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI. They will learn how to work with Python data types, variables, conditions, loops, functions, lists and dictionaries, and apply these concepts through practical coding exercises. By the end of the week, learners will understand how AI and Generative AI work at a fundamental level and will be able to start building simple AI-powered applications using Python.

Learners will learn how to explore and analyze data using Python libraries such as NumPy and Pandas while developing practical Prompt Engineering skills for Generative AI applications. They will understand how to write effective prompts, improve AI responses, provide context and instructions, and use different prompting techniques to achieve more reliable outputs. By the end of the week, learners will be able to work with data and design effective prompts for real-world GenAI use cases.

Learners will move from basic GenAI concepts to building practical AI applications by working with AI APIs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI Agents. They will understand how applications communicate with LLMs, how documents can be converted into searchable knowledge using embeddings and retrieval, and how AI Agents can use tools, memory and reasoning to complete tasks. By the end of the week, learners will be able to build an AI-powered application that can retrieve information and interact intelligently with users.
