About the role
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Architect / Infrastructure Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly reliable cloud and DevOps solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, containerization, Kubernetes, monitoring, observability, and production troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps best practices.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar tools.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or Crossplane.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments.
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, OpenShift, and container-based architectures.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Datadog, or similar platforms.
- Improve system reliability, scalability, performance, security, and availability through automation.
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in incident response and resolution.
- Implement DevOps security best practices including IAM, secrets management, encryption, vulnerability scanning, and secure infrastructure practices.
- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and IT operations teams.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and DevOps strategy initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to improving engineering and deployment practices.
- Support 24×7 production environments when required.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 7.5 years of relevant experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Infrastructure Automation.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or other IaC tools.
- Strong experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Good understanding of Linux, Bash scripting, networking, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, observability, and incident management.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and production troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Good to Have:
- GitOps experience with ArgoCD or Flux.
- Experience with serverless architectures.
- AIOps and observability automation knowledge.
- SRE concepts including SLIs, SLOs, and reliability engineering.
- Experience with cloud cost optimization and multi-cloud monitoring.
- Experience with tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, ThousandEyes, SolarWinds, or similar platforms.
