Who this is for

Built for anyone breaking into Cloud and DevOps

🎓

Graduates & final-years

Any graduate, 3rd-year, final-year or passed-out student ready to build real cloud skills. We start from Linux basics.

🔁

Career switchers

Move into Cloud and DevOps with hands-on, mentor-led training and a real project you build and own.

⚙️

Aspiring DevOps engineers

Learn Docker, Kubernetes, Azure and CI/CD end to end, then prove it with a deployed capstone on AKS.

💼

Portfolio builders

Walk away with a public GitHub project, a demo video, and a verifiable certificate for your resume.

What you'll learn

Four weeks, from the shell to a shipped AKS app

Every week pairs live training with hands-on labs against real tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Azure and CI/CD, and closes with a DevOps capstone you deploy, monitor and demo.

Linux, shell & Git

File-system navigation, permissions, shell scripting, and version control with Git and GitHub from the ground up.

Docker & containers

Containers versus VMs, writing Dockerfiles, building and running images, and pushing to Docker Hub.

Kubernetes

Pods, Deployments and Services, ConfigMaps and Secrets, Ingress and the Horizontal Pod Autoscaler.

Azure & CI/CD

Resource groups, VMs, VNet and networking, AKS and ACR, and Azure DevOps YAML pipelines end to end.

Monitoring

Azure Monitor and Container Insights for AKS, with metrics, logs and alerts you can read and act on.

DevOps capstone

Dockerize, build an Azure CI/CD pipeline, deploy to AKS, monitor, document and demo one real project.

How it works

How the cohort runs

A new batch starts each month. Learn live on weekends, build during the week, and post your progress.

🚀

Day 0: Onboarding

Complete enrolment, join the cohort WhatsApp group, add the internship to LinkedIn, and install Git, VS Code, Docker Desktop, kubectl and Azure CLI.

📚

Weeks 1 to 3: Live training

Two live classes each week, Saturday and Sunday, about four hours a week on Google Meet, with three session blocks plus a hands-on assignment each week.

🏰

Week 4: DevOps capstone

Build your assigned project with mentor check-ins: Dockerize, Azure CI/CD, deploy to AKS, add monitoring, and write the documentation.

🎓

Demo Day & certificate

Present your project live with a demo and Q&A. Once your mentor verifies attendance, posts, videos and capstone, your verifiable certificate is issued.

Weekly cadence: Saturday 2 hrs plus Sunday 2 hrs is about 4 hours of live, mentor-led training per week, 16 to 20 hours across the cohort. Each week also includes a visibility task, one LinkedIn post and one short video, that counts toward your certificate.

Your credential

Finish with the CareerByteCode Certified Cloud & DevOps Intern credential

Complete the internship and earn a verifiable certificate you can add to LinkedIn and your resume. It is built to be recognised fast by recruiters and to give your job search a concrete proof point.

Sample certificate. Every graduate receives one with their own name and a unique verifiable ID. An internship record is permanent and does not expire.

  • Verifiable in seconds

Each certificate carries a unique ID and a public verify link, so a recruiter can confirm it is real without contacting you.

  • Add it to your LinkedIn

It drops straight into your Licenses and Certifications section using the issuer name, issue date, and credential ID.

  • Proof you can do the work

It is awarded for a real, deployed project and a live demo, not for watching videos, so it signals applied skill to hiring teams.

  • Speaks the recruiter's language

A clear, role-titled credential that matches the terms hiring teams and ATS filters actually search for, helping you move faster through screening.

Every certificate is verifiable. Check any credential ID at careerbytecode.in/verify.

Complete guide

Become job-ready in Cloud and DevOps in 4 weeks

This is a hands-on, beginner-friendly live cohort internship. Across four weeks you move from the Linux command line to shipping a real application on Azure Kubernetes Service with an automated CI/CD pipeline. Every week pairs live weekend training with hands-on labs against real tools, and Week 4 is your individual DevOps capstone, deployed to AKS, monitored, and presented live on Demo Day. You leave with a public GitHub project, a demo video, a verifiable certificate and a community, not just a video library. The program includes 12 hands-on lab exercises across the first three weeks and a fixed set of 10 Cloud DevOps capstone projects, so every portfolio is distinct.

The schedule

The internship runs as a monthly live cohort over four weeks. Weeks 1 to 3 are live training, two classes each week on the weekend, Saturday for two hours and Sunday for two hours, about four hours a week and 16 to 20 hours across the cohort, on Google Meet. Week 4 is your capstone build with mentor check-ins. New cohorts open regularly due to high DevOps demand.

Fee and what's included

The internship fee is ₹2,000 plus 18% GST, which is ₹2,360 all-in. It includes all four weeks of live sessions, the hands-on labs, the capstone project, learning materials, Demo Day, a verifiable Certificate of Internship and CareerByteCode community access. From Week 3 you use your own Azure account for billable lab resources, paid directly to Azure and separate from the program.

What you walk away with

The ability to containerize an app, deploy and scale it on Kubernetes, provision Azure infrastructure, build a CI/CD pipeline, set up monitoring, and publish a complete DevOps project on GitHub, a portfolio piece you can showcase in placements and interviews.

FAQ

Common questions

What is the Cloud & DevOps Live Cohort Internship?
It is a 4-week, live, mentor-led internship that takes you from the Linux command line to deploying a real application on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) with a full CI/CD pipeline. Weeks 1 to 3 are live weekend training with hands-on labs, and Week 4 is your individual DevOps capstone, deployed, monitored, and demoed on Demo Day. No prior DevOps experience is needed.
How much is the internship fee?
The fee is ₹2,000 plus 18% GST, which is ₹2,360 all-in. It covers all four weeks of live mentor-led sessions, the hands-on labs, the capstone project, learning materials, and a verifiable Certificate of Internship.
What is the schedule and time commitment?
The internship runs as a monthly live cohort over four weeks, with two live classes each week on the weekend, Saturday for two hours and Sunday for two hours, roughly four hours a week and 16 to 20 hours across the cohort. Each week adds a hands-on assignment plus a short visibility task, and new cohorts open regularly due to high DevOps demand.
Do I need prior DevOps or cloud experience?
No. The program begins with Linux and the shell and builds up step by step, and every concept is applied immediately in a hands-on lab. You only need a laptop, a good internet connection, and GitHub, Docker Hub and Azure accounts, which you set up during onboarding.
Who mentors the cohort?
You are mentored by working practitioners: Manoj Savukar (Senior Azure DevOps Engineer), Sourabh Bhoyar (DevOps Engineer, CI/CD, Kubernetes and SRE), Daisy Grace Thomas (AI Product and Automation Engineer) and Jenefer Rexee George (AI and ML Data Consultant). Your assigned cohort mentor reviews your labs, capstone and Demo Day.
Are there any cloud costs?
This is a hands-on cloud program. From Week 3 and during your capstone you use your own Microsoft Azure account, and the labs create real, billable resources such as VMs, AKS, Application Gateway and ACR. Expect small charges for the time your labs run, separate from the program and paid directly to Azure. Use the free tier and free credits, and always stop or delete resources after each lab to keep costs minimal.
What certificate do I earn?
You earn a verifiable Certificate of Internship from CareerByteCode with a unique reference ID in the format CBC-INTCLDEVOPS-YEAR-NNNN, signed by Sangeetha, Director. It is a permanent record with no expiry, and it is issued on completing the live classes, weekly posts and videos, and a deployed capstone presented on Demo Day, not on payment alone. You can verify any ID at careerbytecode.in/verify.
Can I earn or freelance after the internship?
Yes. Cloud and DevOps skills are in high demand for automation, platform and SRE roles. Graduates take on freelance and client work and content, many under the CareerByteCode brand with a 55% to 80% revenue share via Razorpay. Join the community to turn your new skills into income.
