FAQ

Questions about the exams

Are the practice exams free?+

Your first exam is always free. After that a one-month plan from Rs 177 including GST (or inviting friends who take an exam) unlocks more. See the plans. Every exam is auto-graded and issues a verifiable certificate on a pass.

Do I get a certificate?+

Yes. Pass any exam and you earn a CareerByteCode certificate with a public verify link at careerbytecode.in/verify - add it to LinkedIn in one click.

How are the exams graded?+

Instantly and server-side. We support single and multiple choice, true or false, fill-in-the-blank, drag-to-order, code snippets, scenario questions, and live SQL graded against a real dataset.

Can I retake an exam?+

Yes. Retakes are allowed and every attempt shows in your exam history with its own answer review. Most exams shuffle the questions and options on each attempt, and some exams ask for a short break between attempts.

Are these the official certification exams?+

No. These are independent practice exams to test and prove your skills. They are not affiliated with AWS, Microsoft, or Google; official certification names are trademarks of their owners.

How is this different from a course?+

Courses teach; exams prove. Take an exam to benchmark where you stand, then use the linked prep course to close the gaps.

Certificates are issued by CareerByteCode and verifiable at careerbytecode.in/verify. Free to start.
