FAQ

Questions about the Resume Quantification Helper

What kind of number should I add to a resume bullet?

It depends on the verb. Reduce and save lines need how much was cut, improve and grow lines need a percent change, build and launch lines need scale like users, and manage or lead lines need team size or budget.

How does the tool decide a bullet is already quantified?

Any bullet that contains a digit is marked as having a number.

What if I do not have exact figures for my work?

Use honest estimates you can explain in an interview, such as about 20 hours a month saved or a team of 5. Never invent numbers.

Is the Resume Quantification Helper free and private?

Yes. It is free, needs no sign-up and runs entirely in your browser, so what you type is not uploaded. You only sign in if you want to email a result to yourself or save it to your CareerByteCode profile.
