Is TDS deducted on a PF withdrawal?

On a final settlement before 5 years of service, 10 percent TDS applies when the amount is Rs 50,000 or more. Form 15G or 15H can avoid it if your income is below the taxable limit.

How long does service need to be for a partial withdrawal?

The simplified rules announced in October 2025 ask for 12 months of service, with 25 percent of the balance kept in the account. The tool lets you change these numbers.
