Questions about the Salary Slip Generator

How is employee PF worked out on a salary slip?

Employee PF is 12 percent of basic. Many employers cap it at 12 percent of Rs 15,000, that is Rs 1,800 a month; the tool offers both and no PF.

How much is professional tax?

It depends on the state. Many states charge up to Rs 200 a month; some charge nothing. Enter your state amount.

Can an employee make their own salary slip?

No. A salary slip must come from the employer and show the pay actually made. This tool is for employers and payroll teams.
